Permanent Bridges Replace Missing Teeth

Dr. Bishop recommends a bridge to keep teeth from drifting into the space created from a missing tooth and to help preserve normal function and normal bite for the jaw joint

A bridge is usually fixed to the teeth on both sides of the space from the missing tooth. It gives the bridge strong support. It is permanently bonded in place, unlike a Partial Denture (also called a "Removable Bridge"), which is removable.

Brushing a bridge is no different than brushing natural teeth. Our team will give special flossing instructions to you to keep the bridge and surrounding tissue healthy.
